ChikChik Terms of Service

1. Eligibility and account responsibility

You must be legally permitted to use the services and must provide accurate information when creating an account, purchasing tickets, submitting an event, or contacting support.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity that occurs through your account. ChikChik may suspend or terminate accounts that create risk to users, payment partners, organizers, venues, or the platform.

2. Event listings

Event listings must be accurate, complete, and not misleading. ChikChik may review, remove, pause, or restrict listings that are inaccurate, deceptive, unlawful, unsafe, unverifiable, or otherwise non-compliant.

Event details, ticket types, venue information, refund rules, entry requirements, age limits, and timing may vary by event. Users are responsible for reviewing event information before buying.

3. Purchases and digital tickets

When a customer purchases a ticket through ChikChik, the customer authorizes ChikChik and its payment partners to charge the selected payment method for the total amount shown at checkout.

After purchase, ChikChik issues a digital ticket, which may include a QR code or other proof of purchase used for event entry. Tickets are generally accessed through the ChikChik mobile app.

4. Near-term events only

To reduce delayed-delivery risk, ChikChik only offers tickets for events taking place within 30 days of purchase.

5. One organizer per order

Each order contains tickets associated with one organizer only. Mixed-organizer carts are not supported because this helps simplify receipts, support, refunds, and dispute handling.

6. Fees, pricing, and taxes

The total shown at checkout may include the ticket price, ChikChik service or platform fees, payment-related charges, and applicable taxes where required.

Customers will have an opportunity to review the total before purchase is completed. Organizer pricing and payout calculations are also subject to the Organizer Terms and Payments Addendum.

7. Refunds and cancellations

Refunds are governed by ChikChik’s Refund & Cancellation Policy and the applicable event terms shown before purchase.

Refund requests and card refunds for ChikChik orders must be handled through ChikChik’s platform workflow. ChikChik may issue refunds or intervene when reasonably necessary to protect customers and reduce disputes.

8. Organizers and verification

Organizers who submit events through ChikChik must provide accurate event details and any requested verification or proof-of-event information.

ChikChik may require identity, business, bank, permit, venue, performer, or other documentation before allowing sales, continuing sales, or releasing payouts.

9. Payout timing and risk controls

Organizer payouts are generally initiated after event completion and remain subject to holds, reserves, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, verification review, fraud review, or other compliance controls.

10. Prohibited activity

You may not use ChikChik for unlawful, deceptive, unsafe, infringing, or prohibited activity.

• Fake events or nonexistent venues
• Unauthorized ticket sales or tickets you do not have the right to distribute
• Illegal goods or services
• Gambling, betting, raffles, sweepstakes, or restricted games of chance unless expressly approved in writing and fully lawful
• Financial transfers disguised as ticketing
• Adult sexual services or prohibited adult content
• Hate, violent extremism, harassment, or targeted abuse
• Any other category restricted by law, payment partners, card networks, or ChikChik policy

11. Suspension and enforcement

ChikChik may reject or remove listings, pause ticket sales, delay payouts, require reserves, request additional verification, suspend accounts, terminate access, issue refunds, or take other corrective action when necessary to protect attendees, organizers, payment partners, venues, or the platform.

12. Disclaimer

The services are provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. ChikChik does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that any event will occur exactly as listed.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChikChik will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of the use of the services or any event transaction.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
