ORGANIZER TERMS (Organizer Agreement)
Organizer Terms (Organizer Agreement)
Effective date: March 3, 2026
Last updated: March 3, 2026
These Organizer Terms (“Organizer Agreement”) govern your use of ChikChik to create events and sell tickets. If you create an organizer account, list an event, or sell tickets through ChikChik, you agree to these terms.
ChikChik Technologies, Inc. (“ChikChik,” “we,” “us”) provides a marketplace where organizers (“Organizer,” “you”) can list in‑person events and sell tickets to attendees (“Attendees”). ChikChik is not the organizer of your event unless explicitly stated otherwise on the event listing.
1) Your role as Organizer
You are the seller of tickets and the party responsible for the event. This means you are responsible for:
-
delivering the event as described;
-
providing accurate event information;
-
attendee communications related to your event;
-
honoring refunds as required by your stated policy and by this Agreement; and
-
complying with all applicable laws, venue rules, permits, licensing, and safety requirements.
2) Event listings and required information
All event listings must be accurate, complete, and not misleading. You agree to include (and keep updated) the key details Attendees need to make an informed purchase, including:
-
event name and description;
-
venue/location, date, and start/end time;
-
the organizer name and a working contact method (email and/or phone);
-
ticket type(s), price(s), quantity limits, and any restrictions; and
-
your refund policy (also shown to Attendees at checkout and on receipts).
ChikChik may edit, reject, pause, or remove listings that are inaccurate, deceptive, incomplete, or otherwise non‑compliant.
3) One organizer per order
To reduce confusion and improve refund handling, each checkout/order on ChikChik contains tickets from one Organizer only (no mixed‑organizer carts).
4) Fees and platform charges
ChikChik charges a platform/service fee that is disclosed to buyers at checkout and/or disclosed to organizers in the organizer experience. Fees may vary by event and may be updated from time to time.
5) Cancellations, postponements, and material changes
You agree to promptly notify Attendees and ChikChik if your event is cancelled, postponed, or materially changed. A “material change” includes major changes such as a significant change in date, venue, or headline performer.
For cancelled events—and for postponements/material changes where required—Attendees must be offered refunds according to our Refund & Cancellation Policy and applicable law. If you cannot deliver the event as described, you are responsible for refunds and related costs.
6) Customer support and attendee communications
You agree to communicate with Attendees in a timely and professional manner and to respond to attendee support issues (including refund requests) promptly. ChikChik may contact you regarding attendee complaints, verification requests, or disputes, and you agree to cooperate.
7) Verification and proof‑of‑event
To protect Attendees and reduce fraud/non‑delivery risk, ChikChik may require:
-
identity and/or business verification (KYC/KYB);
-
verification of your bank account for payouts; and/or
-
proof‑of‑event for certain events (for example, venue booking confirmation, permits, or performer agreements).
If you do not provide requested verification or proof‑of‑event, ChikChik may delay payouts, pause ticket sales, remove listings, or suspend your organizer account.
8) Prohibited events and restricted activity
You may not use ChikChik for illegal, deceptive, or prohibited events/transactions. This includes (non‑exhaustive):
-
illegal activity or illegal goods/services (including controlled substances);
-
adult/sexually explicit prohibited content where restricted by payment partners or law;
-
gambling, raffles, sweepstakes, or similar restricted gaming activities;
-
misleading listings or “bait‑and‑switch” events;
-
money‑movement or third‑party payment activity disguised as ticketing.
ChikChik may remove listings and suspend organizers for prohibited or high‑risk activity.
9) Compliance, taxes, and chargebacks
You are responsible for all legal compliance and taxes related to your event and ticket sales. You are responsible for chargebacks, disputes, refunds, and any losses attributable to your event, as described further in the Payments, Payouts & Refunds Addendum below.
10) Suspension, holds, and termination
ChikChik may suspend or terminate your ability to sell tickets, and/or place holds on payouts, if we believe your activity creates elevated risk (for example: unusual dispute rates, suspicious activity, verification issues, policy violations, or attendee harm). We may also cancel or restrict listings to protect Attendees.
11) Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The most current version will be posted on this page. Continued use of ChikChik as an Organizer after updates means you accept the updated terms.

PAYMENTS, PAYOUTS & REFUNDS ADDENDUM (Organizer Payments Addendum)
Payments, Payouts & Refunds Addendum
This Addendum is part of the Organizer Agreement and applies to all ticket transactions processed through ChikChik.
1) Payout schedule (post‑event payouts by default)
By default, ChikChik issues organizer payouts after the event concludes (for example, typically within ~5 business days after event completion), subject to standard review.
ChikChik may adjust payout timing (including delaying, staging, or accelerating payouts) based on risk indicators, verification status, event lead time, pricing/volume, dispute rates, or other factors. Earlier payouts may be enabled for established, low‑risk organizers and may include additional controls (such as reserves).
2) Reserves and setoff rights
To ensure refunds and chargebacks can be covered, ChikChik may:
-
hold a rolling reserve from amounts otherwise payable to you; and/or
-
set off refunds, chargebacks, fees, penalties, and amounts owed to ChikChik against pending payouts or reserves.
3) Backup funding source required
You agree to maintain an active backup funding source (for example, a valid payment method) so refunds and chargebacks can be covered even if payouts have already occurred. If refunds/chargebacks exceed your pending payouts/reserves, you authorize ChikChik to charge your backup funding method for amounts owed.
4) Refunds must be processed through the platform (no off‑platform card refunds)
All card refunds must be processed through ChikChik’s payments system for auditability and consumer protection. You agree not to issue off‑platform card refunds (for example: “Venmo me and I’ll refund you,” “CashApp refund,” “Zelle refund,” etc.) for purchases made through ChikChik.
5) Organizer responsibility for refunds and disputes
You are responsible for funding refunds and chargeback losses attributable to your events, including (as applicable):
-
refunded ticket amounts;
-
chargebacks and dispute losses; and
-
related fees or penalties imposed by payment networks or processors.
ChikChik may recover these amounts by setoff against pending payouts/reserves or by charging your backup funding method.
6) Required refunds and platform intervention
You agree that ChikChik may issue refunds and/or intervene when necessary to protect Attendees and reduce disputes, including for:
-
event cancellations;
-
postponements or material changes (where refunds must be offered);
-
duplicate charges;
-
suspected fraud/non‑delivery; or
-
a significant mismatch between the listing and the event delivered.
ChikChik may also disable ticket sales, pause listings, or require additional verification when necessary.
7) Refund request workflow and response expectations
Refund requests are handled through the ChikChik platform. Organizers are expected to respond promptly to refund requests (target: within 5 business days). If an organizer does not respond in time or if circumstances require, ChikChik may issue a refund when appropriate to protect Attendees and reduce chargebacks/disputes.
8) Statement descriptor and consumer clarity
To reduce confusion disputes, ChikChik uses a recognizable statement descriptor (for example: “CHIKCHIK*EVENTNAME” or similar). Receipts and confirmation messages may include organizer/event details, refund policy, and support contact information.
9) Prohibited events and compliance
You may not sell tickets for illegal, deceptive, or prohibited events/transactions and you must cooperate with verification requests. If ChikChik requests proof‑of‑event or other legitimacy evidence, you agree to provide it promptly.
