Refund & Cancellation Policy
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to tickets purchased through ChikChik for in-person events.
ChikChik handles refund intake and card refund processing for orders placed through the platform. Refund eligibility depends on the event’s listed refund terms, whether the event is cancelled, postponed, or materially changed, and applicable law.
1. Where to find an event’s refund terms
Before purchasing a ticket, customers can review the event’s refund terms on the event listing and during checkout. After purchase, refund terms may also appear in the ticket details or confirmation message.
Customers should review the event date, time, venue, ticket type, age restrictions, entry requirements, and refund policy before completing payment.
2. How to request a refund
To request a refund, customers must use ChikChik’s refund or support workflow. Refunds for card payments made through ChikChik must be processed through ChikChik’s platform and may not be handled off-platform.
For faster support, include the account email, event name, ticket type, order details, and a short explanation of the issue.
3. Cancelled events
If an event is cancelled, customers are generally eligible for a refund to the original payment method, subject to applicable law and the circumstances of the event.
4. Postponed events
If an event is postponed, ChikChik may offer a refund option where required by law, by the event’s refund terms, or where the postponement materially affects the original purchase.
5. Material changes
If an event is materially changed, including a significant change in date, venue, or core advertised experience, ChikChik may offer a refund option where appropriate.
6. Timing of refunds
Once a refund is approved or otherwise determined to be appropriate, ChikChik will generally begin processing the refund promptly. Financial institutions may take additional time to post the refund to the customer’s statement.
7. Duplicate charges, fraud, or non-delivery
ChikChik may issue refunds or take other corrective action when reasonably necessary to protect customers and reduce disputes, including in cases of duplicate charges, suspected fraud, non-delivery, or a significant mismatch between the event listing and the delivered event.
8. Service fees and processing-related fees
Service fees, platform fees, and processing-related fees may be non-refundable unless otherwise required by law, stated for a specific event, or determined by ChikChik in a particular case.
9. Before filing a chargeback
If you experience an issue with an order, please contact ChikChik Support before filing a dispute with your bank. Many issues can be resolved more quickly through ChikChik’s platform process than through a chargeback.
