Refund & Cancellation Policy
ChikChik is a marketplace for in-person events. Refund eligibility depends on the event’s listed refund policy and on whether the event is cancelled, postponed, or materially changed. Each event listing displays the organizer’s refund policy, and the same policy appears on your receipt/confirmation.
Where to find an event’s refund policy
You can find an event’s refund policy (1) on the event listing, (2) on your receipt/confirmation, and (3) inside the ChikChik app under your ticket.
How to request a refund
To request a refund, open your ticket in the ChikChik app and select “Request a refund,” or use the refund link provided in your confirmation/receipt.
Refunds for card payments must be processed through ChikChik’s platform (we do not support off-platform card refunds).
If an event is cancelled, postponed, or materially changed

Cancelled events: If an event is cancelled, you are eligible for a refund to your original payment method.

Postponed events: If an event is postponed, you will be offered a refund option according to the policy and applicable law.

Material changes: If an event is materially changed (for example: a major change in date, venue, or headline performer), you will be offered a refund option.
Organizer response time
Refund requests are routed to the organizer for review. Organizers are expected to respond promptly (typically within 5 business days). If an organizer does not respond in time, ChikChik may issue a refund when appropriate to protect attendees and reduce disputes.
Timing of refunds
Once approved or confirmed, refunds are issued as quickly as possible (typically within 5 business days). Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the refund to your statement.
Fees
When a refund is issued due to event cancellation (or where required by applicable law), ChikChik’s service fees may also be refunded. If a partial refund is issued under an organizer’s policy, fees may be handled consistently with the underlying ticket refund.
Duplicate charges, fraud, or non-delivery
ChikChik may issue refunds or intervene when necessary to protect customers and reduce disputes, including in cases of duplicate charges, suspected fraud, non-delivery, or a significant mismatch between the listing and the event delivered.
Before filing a chargeback
If you have an issue with an order, please contact ChikChik Support first. We can often resolve issues faster through our refund process than through a bank dispute.
